The primary focal point of my academic research is about the Sunnite Islamicate intellectual tradition, specifically during its post-classical period. Forays into a systematic study of the corpus of creed-related manẓūmāt (didactic poems), rasāʾil (treatises), ḥawāšiyy (scholia), šurūḥ (commentaries), and muḵtaṣarāt (abridgments) which comprise the summae, commentatorial, and supercommentatorial tradition(s) of post-classical Sunnism are the central scope of my academic research.
