I am a Research Associate at the Institute for Advanced Study. After earning my Ph.D. in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University, I held a 3 year postdoc position at Princeton University's Center for Human Values. I research the philosophy of Immanuel Kant and the German Idealist tradition, as well as consciousness and philosophy of religion broadly construed. The "broadly construed" presently refers to Buddhist philosophy and the religious thought of Kurt Gödel.
