Philosophical contrarian I guess, partly due to the influence of Wittgenstein (who I appreciate but don't follow dogmatically) and partly to my own contentious nature. The majority of my work - mostly unpublished so far - is in four areas: Wittgenstein, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of technology and aesthetics. I've taught about a dozen types of courses since 1998 as a part time professor while working during the day in the computer field. In addition to philosophical work I write fiction, poetry and songs (which I record when I can)and do some photography. Contact me at tony alt 1 at gmail (no spaces, add the extension).
