    Three-dimensional surface profile intensity correction for spatially modulated imaging

    We describe a noncontact profile correction technique for quantitative, wide-field optical measurement of tissue absorption and reduced scattering coefficients, based on geometric correction of the sample's Lambertian reflectance intensity.
