I am a cultural historian of the Early Modern Mediterranean, focusing on cross-cultural scientific and intellectual exchanges. In 2004 I completed a doctoral degree in history at the University of California, Los Angeles. Until 2008 I was a junior fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. In the last few years, I am acting as the chair of the Humanities Program in Ono College, Israel.
