Ben Almassi is Professor of Philosophy, Program Coordinator for Interdisciplinary Studies, and Affiliated Faculty in Gender & Sexuality Studies and Political & Social Justice Studies at Governors State University. His next book Nontoxic: Masculinity, Allyship, and Feminist Philosophy will be published by Palgrave MacMillan (online open-access as well as in hardcover) in September 2022. Ben lives in Chicago with his partner Negin and their daughter Zeydi.
