In philosophy of mind, I am a simulationist. In philosophy of language, I advocate a Kaplan-type framework built around Stalnaker-type contexts, with content explained by mental states, rather than worlds, and logic oriented around endorsement, rather than truth. Combining these, philosophy of mind benefits from a consequent expressivism about the discourse of mind and meaning (including practical and theoretical rationality); while the formal analysis of meaning benefits from getting semantics out of the way of psychology.
