I have a postdoctoral research position with The University of KwaZulu-Natal. I chiefly work in epistemology and philosophy of language. My interests are in post-Quinean naturalism and its 'fit' within philosophy. Here I seem to mostly occupy the typical 'logical positivist' position that philosophy is an a priori discipline, yielding primarily conceptual truths, and is not compatible with the methods of empirically driven natural sciences.

My research project is titled: An investigation of the meta-theoretical distinction between analytic and synthetic truth. Arguments against current naturalistic empiricism.
