Cliff Stagoll is Honorary Research Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Western Australia. His qualifications in philosophy include two PhDs, the first from University of Warwick (where he was a Commonwealth Scholar) and the second from University of Western Australia, an MA from Texas A&M University, and a BA from Deakin University. He also holds tertiary qualifications in economics, industrial relations, and management. Cliff is currently researching William James’s ethics of self-creation, phenomenological interpretations of James, and how James’s conceptions of habit might be utilized in the fields of management and leadership.
