Daniele Botti received his Laurea (summa cum Laude) in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Milan (www.unimi.it), with a thesis on 'John Rawls and International Justice: The Law of Peoples and its Philosophical Premises.' On June 26, 2012, Dr. Botti defended his doctoral dissertation on 'John Rawls and the American philosophical Tradition: Notes on a recent Finding among Rawls's unpublished Papers' at the Department of History of the University of Eastern Piedmont (www.uniupo.it). He has lived in New Haven, CT since January 2010.

In the spring semester of 2018, he was Lecturer in the Philosophy Department of Yale University.
