I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Maryland, College Park. My areas of specialization are philosophy of mind and aesthetics, with a particular focus on imagination and supposition, creativity, fiction, and the emotions. I have a BA from Columbia University in film studies, and an MA in cinema studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. My areas of teaching competence are ethical theory, applied ethics, and philosophy of disability.
