I have recently completed my PhD degree exploring the moral and philosophical arguments surrounding borders and immigration policy at Warwick University. My research interests cover a range of topics in contemporary political, social and moral philosophy, with particular reference to the conceptions of justice and legitimacy present in liberal and democratic thought. During my doctoral research I became greatly exposed to empirical information regarding immigration flows. As a result I became engaged with the practice and philosophy of social sciences in order to learn how to weigh up empirical data.
