I am an Associate Professor in Physics at the Centre for Quantum Dynamics at Griffith University, Australia. My main academic interests are broadly speaking in the foundations of quantum mechanics, where much of my work is in what I like to call (following Abner Shimony) "experimental metaphysics". I am also interested in various other topics in quantum information theory and within philosophy, including the philosophy of causation and decision theory, though most of my publications are typically characterised as "physics" and do not appear under this profile.
