I completed a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Calgary in 1975. Thesis title: Other Worlds: On the Possibility of Alternate Conceptual Frameworks. My career was in the high-tech world. After selling my company, Industrial Metrics Inc., in 2009 I started work on a philosophy project about personal identity and human motivation: the Phantom Self website.
