Gunnar Björnsson

Professor of Practical Philosophy at Stockholm University. Previously Professor of Philosophy at Umeå University. My research interests are far-reaching, and I am currently working on the analysis of moral judgments, on disagreements in morals, matters of taste, and epistemic modals, on objectivism in ethics, and on various issues relating to moral responsibility. I am the principal investigator of Explanations of Responsibility, funded by the Swedish Research Council. Former PI of Responsibility in Complex Systems, funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond. Former PI of Moral Motivation: Evidence and Relevance (MMER) and the initiator and former coordinator of the Gothenburg Responsibility Project (GRP) at the University of Gothenburg, both funded by the SRC.
