I study Machine Consciousness and am interested in Artificial General Intelligence, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Intelligent Control Systems (Robotics) and Machine Vision.

My graduate level training focussed on Control Systems, Image and Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence. I received my PhD in 1985 with my dissertation Knowledge-Based Intelligent Tracking that was an early exploration into the use of AI techniques in military targeting.
