I am Professor of the history of philosophy at Stockholm University and former Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario. I also a member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy. I am the editor of the book series Studies in the History of Philosophy of Mind published by Springer, and the editor-in-chief of the Encyclopedia of Medieval Philosophy also published by Springer. My area of specialization is medieval and renaissance philosophy but I often draw on ancient, early modern and contemporary philosophy in my research.
