Graduated in Philology (Portuguese and Greek) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Graduated in Philology (Portuguese and Vernacular Literature) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Master in Classics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994) and PhD in Classics by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999).
