Most of my work at the moment concerns misanthropy and pessimism, epistemic virtues and vices, illness and morality, and themes in Buddhist and Classical Chinese philosophy.

I have also worked on issues in philosophy of education, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, philosophical practice, and the work of Mary Midgley.

I also work on intellectual and curricular diversification of academic philosophy.
