I am Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. My research focuses on two areas:

(i) Emotions and moral epistemology. Can emotions provide us with ethical knowledge? I’m working on a set of articles defending a qualified “yes”, by spelling out a non-ideal theory of how emotion-based beliefs can be reliable.

(ii) Normativity in Kant’s philosophy of mind. How is mental representation possible? I think Kant has interesting arguments for the claim that normativity is a key ingredient.
