I work as a Marie Curie Fellow in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. My current research examines the nature of political crises. I'm interested in how we can apply abstract theories of political realism to concrete political emergencies (especially ecological, technological and health crises). I also have a background in the history of modern German philosophy, having written extensively on Nietzsche's philosophy of conflict and its reception within contemporary democratic theory.
