I work as a Marie Curie Fellow in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. My current research examines the nature of political crises and their significance for democratic theory. I'm particularly interested in how states can overcome political crises without compromising their commitment to democratic principles. I also have a background in the history of modern German philosophy, having written extensively on Nietzsche's philosophy of conflict and its reception within contemporary democratic theory.
