I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University. My research falls mainly into the areas of Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language, and Philosophy of Science. I also have interests in Epistemology, History of Modern Philosophy, Metaethics, and Philosophy of Logic.

Much of my work focuses on the nature of truth and truthmaking. My first book, The Primitivist Theory of Truth, defends the view that truth is an undefinable primitive concept.
