Jeffrey Gauthier is professor of philosophy at the University of Portland. He is currently editor of Social Philosophy Today, and has research interests in feminist philosophy, social and political philosophy, and continental philosophy. His book Hegel and Feminist Social Criticism (SUNY 1997) was the first book-length study of the intersection between Hegel and feminist political theory.
