I am a Ph.D. student in philosophy at Texas A&M University. My research and teaching interests are in social and political philosophy, current continental philosophy, hermeneutics, the history of philosophy, critical race theory, and ethics. I am currently working on my dissertation entitled, "Arendt, Haiti, and the Problem of Political Exlusion." In my dissertation, I argue that Hannah Arendt’s conception of political life gives rise to novel critical perspectives on the problem of exclusion.
