In Zubiri’s major work Inteligencia sentiente [Sentient Intelligence, tr. 1999] he presents the basis for the study of causality from his noological perspective.La causalidad personal ha de estudiarse en el más amplio contexto de la causalidad encuanto tal. Zubiri ha evolucionado en el modo de conceptuarla. En la primera parte estudiamos el desarrollo diacrónico de su teoría. Hasta su obra Estructura dinámica de la realidad no habrá un estudio sistemático de este tema. No abarca solamente la causalidad intramundana, sino que estudia también la causalidad personal divina; esta se desarrolla bien en El hombre y Dios .
