I'm a Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, specializing in the philosophy of the biological and behavioural sciences. My first book The Philosophy of Social Evolution was published in 2017. My second book The Edge of Sentience: Risk and Precaution in Humans, Other Animals, and AI will be out in summer 2024.
