José Fernandes holds a degree in Economics from the University of Coimbra. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Political Science and International Relations, as well as a Master's degree in Political Philosophy from the Nova University of Lisbon. His Master's thesis focused on the phenomenology of intersubjectivity in Husserl.
Throughout his career, he held various corporate positions related to Training, Consulting, and Project Implementation. He gained experience as a Project Assistant and Researcher at Amadora Inova, where he managed and executed European transnational projects in the field of Education.
