I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from Temple University (2019). Before going to Temple, I earned an M.A. in philosophy at Stony Brook University, and a B.A. with a double major in philosophy and literature at Purchase College. My dissertation focused on Immanuel Kant's philosophy of history, attempting to shed light on its "proleptic" aspect. I teach in the Department of Philosophy at Fairfield University; most recently as a Visiting Assistant Professor and as Assistant Professor of the Practice beginning in Fall 2023. So far, my published and forthcoming work includes essays on Kant, GWF Hegel, Friedrich Nietzsche, Aristotle, Jean-Paul Sartre, Hans Blumenberg, Alasdair MacIntyre, Miguel de Unamuno, Jorge Luis Borges, Victor Hugo, Henri Lefebvre, and John Searle on topics in aesthetics, ethics, existentialism, modal teleology, philosophy and literature, philosophy and technology, the philosophy of history, and social ontology. I am currently working on a variety of projects covering, among others, Kant, Hegel, Arthur Danto, Borges, and Albert Camus.
