Julian Friedland is an Associate Professor of Business Ethics focused on how moral psychology and reasoning can optimize social and personal responsibility via moral self-awareness and AI design. He holds a PhD from the University of Paris 1 - Sorbonne and has held full-time posts at Trinity College Dublin, George Washington University, Fordham, and the University of Colorado. He has published in such journals as Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Ethics, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He also writes in magazines and newsprint such as the New York Times, Irish Times, Boston Globe, and Chronicle of Higher Education.
