Kian Salimkhani

I am an Assistant Professor for Philosophy of Science at the Insitute for Science in Society at Radboud University Nijmegen and part of the Radboud Centre for Natural Philosophy. I am also PI of the DFG project Fundamentality in Physics and Metaphysics. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cologne and part of the DFG research group Inductive Metaphysics. In 2023, I acted as a visiting scholar at the Centre for Philosophy and the Sciences at the University of Oslo. My research focuses on the philosophy of spacetime, philosophy of quantum gravity, fundamentality, unification in physics, and the philosophy of time. I am also more broadly interested in philosophy of physics, philosophy of science, and metaphysics.
