I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Marquette. I primarily work in the History of Philosophy focusing on Black Philosophy, Critical Philosophy of Race, and 19th Century German Philosophy (especially Hegel). Additionally, I am competent in Feminist Philosophy and Social and Political Philosophy. I engage a number of contemporary issues and questions in light of my main research areas. I am currently at work on essays in each of my areas and a monograph that focuses on 'Du Bois's contribution to philosophy entitled Du Bois's Metaphilosophy: The Truth of Race.'
