Lisa is a Ph.D. student in Philosophy, Public Philosophy, and Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Penn, she received her B.A. in Legal Studies and Philosophy and an M.A in Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her primary interests are in the philosophy of race, ethics, and metaphysics. Her secondary interests lie in the philosophy of language, philosophy of art, and aesthetics.
