    Aristotle’s conception of truth

    The purpose of this article is offer a wide view of the Aristotle’s thoughts about the logical concept of truth. In sight of this, we analyze different writings in the Aristotelian corpus where we find an explicit consideration about this subject-matter, namely: in Metaphysics, De Interpretatione and the treatise De Anima.   • The Aristotelian Passions Theory in Rhetoric: The Case of Phóbo

    The aim of the present paper is provide an overview of Aristotle’s thoughts about the páthē such as they are exposed in the context of his Rhetoric, taking the Fortenbaugh’s cognitivist interpretation as a basic assumption. For this purpose, we analyze the type of definition that concerns to emotions and the employed method. Finally, we focus our attention in show the particular definition of phóbos and its consequences for the aristotelian theory of passions.
