I'm particularly interested in time - what kinds of temporal structures enable and shape cognition; whether our experience of time is different to that of other cognisers; how lived temporality has been conceptualised; and how our relationship to time is shaped by, and shapes, the power structures that we inhabit.

My research focuses mainly on the phenomenological tradition, especially its intersections with philosophies of cognition and mind. My main philosophical influences include Heidegger, Bergson, Beauvoir and Fanon. I also like thinking about biology, gender, death, horror and the so-called analytic/Continental distinction.
