I am a former evolutionary biologist who has switched to philosophy of science. My interests are in the philosophy of biology (naturally), the relationships between science and philosophy and between science and religion, and the philosophy of pseudoscience. Recently, I have developed an interest in applied Stoicism... I teach at the City College of New York and at CUNY's Graduate Center, and my two blogs are platofootnote.org and howtobeastoic.org.
