Mayli obtained her Ph.D. with her work on "Responsible Prediction under Critical Uncertainty - an epistemic analysis of neuroprognostic innovation practices after cardiac arrest". She got an M.A. in Applied Ethics from Linköping University in Sweden, and works as a research fellow for the Center for Medical Science & Technology Studies at the University of Copenhagen where she now teaches. She also teaches at the Sherwin B. Nuland Summer Institute in Bioethics at the Yale University Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics.
