Olga Vishnyakova received her Ph.D. in philosophy from Moscow State University in 1993. She taught at the Moscow Academy of Labor and Social Relations till 2002. Since 2004, she has taught courses in Philosophy and Logic at North Seattle College. She authored numerous articles published in Russian on pedagogy in the humanities, ethics, the philosophy of human nature, and Russian self-identity, the textbook Methodological Directions in Studying Philosophy (1998), and the book The Ethics of Berdyaev (2000).
