    Předkládaný článek interpretuje filosofii Sexta Empirika na základě zkoumání klíčových pasáží jeho spisů a sledování implikací jeho nauk. V první části textu se autor kriticky vyrovnává s převládajícím přístupem k Sextovu dílu, který považuje za strukturující moment skepticismu epistemologické úvahy.
