I care deeply about the relation between scientific knowledge and the way humans see ourselves and our place in a complex and endangered world. Therefore, my research addresses questions about scientific representation (and misrepresentation); the irreducible political and ethical content of all that we think and do; and the potential and limits of every grand narrative of what it means to be human.
