Rineke Verbrugge is Full Professor at the University of Groningen's Department of Artificial Intelligence, combined with a so-called 'zero-appointment' at the Faculty of Philosophy. Since 2002, she has been the leader of the Multi-Agent Systems research group. Her work focuses on logics, multi-agent systems, and social cognition. She received an M.Sc. (cum laude) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Amsterdam.
