In theoretical philosophy, my focus currently is on applying empirical and experimental methods of linguistics to philosophical ends, in particular: corpus analysis. I am part of an informal network dedicated to researching such methods or researching with such methods in philosophy, MoLiPhi.
In practical philosophy, I work in environmental ethics. My focus currently is on issues where hope and fear have some bearing on environmental thinking.
