My ancient Greek philosophy scholarship explores the intersection of ethics, art and emotion; the dramatic and educational aspects of Plato’s dialogues; and 'purpose' or 'telos' in Aristotle's natural philosophy. My latest scholarly work is a contribution to a new English translation and interpretation of Aristotle's "On the Progression of Animals," published by Cambridge University Press and edited by Andrea Falcon and Stasinos Stavrianeas.
