My interests include feminist epistemology and philosophy of science. I work mostly on the relationship between methodology and epistemology in the sciences with an emphasis on the social sciences. I focus on how values affect research and the knowledge it produces. My recent work has been on the role of case studies specifically in political science. I have explored questions of causality, measurement (coding), and theory testing. In addition, I am working on the use of case studies in feminist science studies, feminist social science and mixed methods research, and causality.
