The question ' What is Philosophy? ' is a peculiar kind of question for SSB. He has got his own view regarding the nature of philosophy. For him it is a kind of intellectual exercise which takes place all over the world in different time periods irrespective of the geographical limit, race-limit, etc. This is a human expression as well as an endeavor and has got its own significance in the history of mankind. This activity of producing philosophy is an apex intellectual exercise. For him Philosophy is an action. It is not just contemplation and speculation in air. He does not allow the word ' speculation ' to be applied for this activity since he believes to be an action oriented study in the true sense of the term. For him,it is a worldview expressed by sensible, articulated, neat, sensitive humans in entire human race. He analyses philosophical terms in traditional ways and interprets them in modern idiom with special reference to cultures in and civilizations in the world.

'समकालीन' ही संकल्पना आपण इंग्रजीतील 'कॉंटेम्पररी' (Contemporary) या अर्थाने वापरतो. समकालीन असण्याचा मुद्दा बहुतेक सर्व मराठी साहित्यिक, लेखक, नाटककार, कवी, टीकाकार, समीक्षक, साक्षेपी संपादक आणि साक्षेपी प्रकाशक यांनी चर्चेच्या अग्रक्रमी ठेवला आहे. या साऱ्यांनी विशेषतः लेखक मंडळीनी आधुनिकतावाद, आधुनिकोत्तरतावाद, देशीवाद, नवनैतिकता, वास्तववाद इत्यादी संकल्पना मांडल्या. समकालीन किंवा समकालीनता हा 'आजचा समकालीन' मुद्दा आहे !? या साऱ्यांची बरीच चर्चा झाली आहे आणि होही आहे. या संदर्भात 'समकालीन' ही संकल्पना तपासली पाहिजे. प्रथम हे लक्षात घेतले पाहिजे की 'समकालीन' ही जाणिव भारतीय नाही, ती आयात आहे. तिला सामाजिक व राजकीय तत्त्वज्ञानाचा संदर्भ आहे. व्यापक अर्थाने तिचे स्वरूप तत्त्वज्ञानात्मक आहे. म्हणजे संकल्पना म्हणून ती तत्त्वज्ञानात्मक आहेच पण उपयोजन म्हणूनही ती स्वरूपाने तत्त्वज्ञानात्मक आहे.एखादी संकल्पना प्रत्यक्ष उपयोगात आणली जात असताना तिचे मूळ स्वरूप आणि तिचे उपयोजन कसे होते, यात मला रस आहे.

This research paper attempts to get pragmatic way to deal with few questions like, 'Will Indian Economic thoughts be able to give directions to crises-ridden global economic system?', 'Can India show solutions to the World's Present Socio-economical crises?'' and What are the Alternatives available before mankind to avoid economic crises?' The concept of economic exploitation or “exploitation” which has been the focal point of solemn philosophical debate is one of the favorite nouns in the glossary of critics of the free market economy. The strongest version of the claim that the free market necessarily involves exploitation is that of Karl Marx. The aim of this research paper is to bring to the notice of economist, policy makers, research scholars, professors and students of economics as well as of philosophy and layman, that what kind of solution, a Philosopher from India, like Prof. Surendra S. Barlingay has to offer to the discipline of economics at large.

The paper deals with concept of theft in general with a few selected verses in Sanskrit Literature, from its etymological meaning and the idea behind. It deals with the concept of plagiarism in particular with special reference to some thoughts on plagiarism and credential stealing in ancient Indian scriptures and Vaarakari Sampraday in Maharashtra. The research article is devided in thre parts: first deals with the etymology – in englsih and Sanskrit; second deasl with the considerable scope of the concept of plagiarism and the last part deals with the ancient and medival references plagiarism in Sanskrit literature. चोरी ही जागतिक समस्या आहे. वस्तूंची साधी गरज अथवा तिची तीव्रतेने गरजेची असताना तिचा तुटवडा असणे, तिचा अभाव असणे, किंवा ती आजूबाजूला असणे पण आपल्याला उपलब्ध न होणे, ती अप्राप्य होणे, इत्यादी कारणांमुळे (तिच्या) चोरीची घटना घडते.चोरवाङमय आणि वाङमयचौर्य या दोन संकल्पनांमध्ये फरक आहे. चोरवाङमय म्हणजे चोरीविषयीचे वाङमय. वाङमयचौर्य म्हणजे वाङमयाची, ज्ञानाची चोरी. प्रस्तुत संशोधन लेखात ज्ञानाची चोरी म्हणजे वाङमयचौर्य आणि श्रेयचौर्य या संकल्पनांचा संस्कृत वाङमयाच्या संदर्भात घेतलेला शोध, तिचे प्राचीन, मध्ययुगीन भारतीय संदर्भ, यांचा धांडोळा घेतला आहे.
