My current primary interests involve issues about economic justice and more generally questions about the appropriate relationship between markets and governments. Until recently, my main focus was on the ethics of war, and this led to my most recent book,"Terrorism and the Ethics of War" [Cambridge U. Press, 2010]. I've also written books and articles on patriotism, the death penalty, and rationality.
