I do some historical research in history of eighteenth-century philosophy--especially Scottish philosophy, and with an emphasis on questions at the intersection of philosophy of mind, aesthetics, and ethics. I also do some problem-oriented research in contemporary value theory, with an emphasis on diverse questions about distinctions between evaluative domains.
