DR TSN Sastry is a Senior Professor of Law working in the Department of Law Savitribai Phule pune University. He is also the Coordinator of the University Human Rights Education programme. Dr Sastry specialisation is international Law and Human Rights. His areas interest are,International Law, Law of the Sea, private International Law, International Economic Law, Global Justice, Constittuion of INdia, Legal Reserach Methdoology. He delivers lectures regularly in all the above areas extensively. Dr Sastry authored four bboks. State Succession in Indian Context; Human rights and Duites, Human Rights of Vulerable and Disadvantaged People, Human Rights and Duites in India, Law, Society, Policy and Enforcement Mechanism. He edited Three Books on Fifity years Indian Indepenence and the Constitution, India and Human Rights, Human Rights various issues DR Sastry published more than Sixty reserach papers in academic journals of national and international repute. Dr Sastry was the former Academic Fellow of the European Commission under the Erasmus mundus and former cultural Academic Fellow of the Government of France. Heheld a number of Administrative Positions sucha UGC Coordinator of Human Rights, Director of School of Excellence in Law, Dean Academic and Planning, Head of the Department of IPR, Controller of Examinations and Head of the Department of Law. He contributes in various governmental organisations on invitaion including the University Grants Commission of India. A good educational stragesist and willing to work with scholars around the world.
