Whereas numerous African creation myths are supportive of cultural practices such as circumcision, there are very few, if any, creation myths that justify polygyny. There are many proverbs about polygamy. However, proverbs do not have the same weight as myths in explaining why certain things should be the way they are. African creation myths suggest that monogyny was the original practice not only among creator-gods, but also among the original humans. The pursuit of immortality through procreation is noble. Nevertheless, its achievement through polygyny discriminate against women. So, polygyny is a sexist cultural practice that has no genuine religious basis. It is a "post-original" sin as well as a culturally and morally controversial issue. It undermines the original gender equality. Consequently, it should be dismantled through education, commitment to and enforcement of human rights laws.

The United States is ‘the first modern democracy.’ Unfortunately, Trumpism has increasingly become an imminent threat to democracy, national unity, security and sovereignty. For years, the American exceptionalism has allowed U.S. presidents to be leaders of the free world. Unfortunately and sadly, through southern strategy, abuse of power, and isolationism, President Trump has proven that he is “unfit to lead” domestically and globally, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic crisis. The general elections 2020 are about keeping the U.S. as a republic by rescuing its democracy from 'Trumpocracy' and 'tweetocracy,' protecting and defending its national security and sovereignty. Unfortunately, Congressional ‘Trumpublicans’ have put party before country and failed to patriotically carry out their oversight duty. Consequently, it is imperative that Democrats understand and use the power of demographics in the 21st-century USA, transform the midterms 2018 ‘blue wave’ into a ‘blue tsunami.’ That is the best possible way to restore sanity, decency, law and order in Washington.

The 2008 and 2012 presidential elections in the United States of America showed that democracy and demographics are correlated in a microcosmic nation, where the concept of majority ethnic group is becoming an endangered species. President Obama’s reelection victory can be attributed, among other factors, to the Obama Code, or Obama’s “effective way to bring the country together around fundamental American values”. The victory was also due to his domestic ‘Diplobamacy’, i.e., Obama’s cultural understanding of, effective dialogue and communication on domestic issues and policies relative to gender, class, race, immigration, and age, also referred to as ‘Gender Diplobamacy’, ‘Class Diplobamacy’, ‘Race Diplobamacy’, ‘Immigration Diplobamacy’, and ‘Millennial Diplobamacy’. Throughout President Obama’s first term and during both presidential campaigns, he showed that not only did his biracial identity allow him to better understand the complex demographic and cultural realities of today’s USA, but it also allowed him to see our common humanity and interests in a networked global village. The Obama Code and Diplobamacy allowed Obama to forge a new majority through “the coalition of the ascendant”. In the 21st-century’s multipolar world, “the Obama Doctrine” prefigures a new era of multilateralism, renewed internationalism, global democracy, and cosmocitizenship.
