Major galaxy mergers reshape morphologies and trigger bursts of star formation. Because stellar metallicity and age preserve chemical enrichment and star formation histories, they provide diagnostics of merger-driven evolution. I analyse 28,445 galaxies from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) with stellar population measurements, of which 854 are major mergers and 116 are post-merger remnants identified by the UMKC Galaxy Evolution Group. Stellar ages and metallicities are derived from absorpti…Read more

    Bremsstrahlung from Rapid Deacceleration
with Michael Murray, James Bowen, Caelan Lovell, Abishai Mathai, and Brendan McRoberts, ,
At the LHC and RHIC, heavy ions collide at ultrarelativistic energies, producing a deconfined state of strongly interacting matter known as a quark-gluon plasma. In such collisions, the incoming nuclei decelerate from Lorentz factors γ ∼ 102–103 to rest over a timescale of order 10−24 s, producing the most rapid deceleration of charged matter ever observed. We derive the classical Bremsstrahlung spectrum for this process using Jackson’s retarded-field formalism in spherical coordinates, treating…Read more

The black hole information paradox — the apparent violation of unitarity during Hawking evaporation — has resisted resolution for five decades because quantum field theory on curved spacetime assigns an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space to the horizon, permitting unbounded growth of entanglement entropy. We show that the Topological Unified Field Theory on the Complex Hopf Fibration (TUFT), in which gauge fields and gravity are unified on the universal bundle S^1 → S^∞ → CP^∞ and its finite she…Read more

We disprove the recent OpenAI, Anthropic, and Zhou "disproofs" by counterexample to Connes' rigidity conjecture, then show the same move proves the conjecture itself. Part I shows that three independent claimed counterexamples to the conjecture are invalid. The OpenAI and Anthropic counterexamples construct pairs of group extensions — one split (Gamma_0), one non-split (Gamma_tau) — of Sp_4(Z) by Z^4 and claim the corresponding group von Neumann algebras are isomorphic. The concurrent Zhou const…Read more

Furey (arXiv:2607.18450v1) claims to derive the Standard Model’s internal symmetries from the nested Cayley-Dickson tower R ⊂ C ⊂ H ⊂ O. The paper’s actual construction uses the direct sum O ⊕ H ⊕ C ⊕ R with componentwise multiplication. These are incompatible mathematical structures. A direct sum treats its summands as independent; a nested tower treats them as overlapping. You cannot form the sum of overlapping objects—even a vector-space sum—without subtracting the overlap, and the paper neve…Read more

We construct topological quantum error correction on the microtubule bundle using the fiber-bundle machinery of the Topological Unified Field Theory (TUFT) and the Lambda residue formalism. A single microtubule is a fiber: a hollow cylinder of 13 protofilaments carrying internal structure through Fibonacci helical pathways at winding numbers $3, 5, 8, 13$ and a seam. Microtubules in a neuron form a bundle---a principal fiber bundle $\pi: P \to M$ whose base $M$ is the neuronal geometry and who…Read more

We demonstrate that Einstein's unified field theory based on teleparallelism (Fernparallelismus, 1925–1930) is a first-order approximation of the Topological Unified Field Theory (TUFT) formulated on the complex Hopf fibration S¹ → S⁹ → ℂP⁴. Einstein's Hamiltonian density H = h g^μν Λ^α_μβ Λ^β_να is identically Term I of the three-term TUFT Lagrangian. The incompleteness that Einstein himself acknowledged—his inability to derive equations of motion, the restriction to first-order approximation, …Read more

Gomes (2025) argues that gauge theory, as applied to the Standard Model, can be formulated without principal fiber bundles by working instead with ``structured'' vector bundles whose fibers carry an inner product and orientation. I show that this elimination is illusory and that the paper is self-contradictory. A $G$-structured vector bundle $E$ cannot be specified independently of a principal $G$-bundle; more precisely, the frame bundle $L'(E)$ is the \textit{potential bundle} of the principal …Read more

In gauge gravity unification on the complex Hopf fibration (Topological Unified Field Theory of "TUFT", gauge fields arise with the connection and torsion of the complex Hopf fibration S¹ → S^(2n+1) → CPⁿ, and spacetime torsion is sourced by the electromagnetic gauge field through its fiber holonomy. The dynamical operator is the Beltrami operator B = ⋆d on the contact distribution — not the Dirac operator — and its eigenmodes are the field configurations that couple to the fiber. From this vant…Read more

Wu and Yang (1975) identified gauge fields with principal fiber bundles: a gauge field is a bundle with a connection; this is not a choice of formalism but the definition of the object. This paper examines two lines of work that detach gauge-theoretic vocabulary from the geometric object it names, then identifies why the standard computational tools work despite this detachment. Part I reviews the metaplectic fusion category papers, which classify solutions to the pentagon and hexagon equations …Read more

In June 2025, John Moffat and collaborators presented a “Holomorphic Unified Field Theory” was proposed on the complexified Minkowski manifold C^4. I show herein that the construction is not holomorphic: the structure group Spin(3, 1) ×SU(5) is real, the transition functions are real, and the total space of the bundle is not a complex manifold. Furthermore, C^4 is contractible and therefore trivializes every principal bundle over it, admits no nontrivial characteristic classes, and provides no …Read more

The prevailing public health consensus holds that stigmatizing suicide is harmful and that de-stigmatization is an unqualified good (WHO 2014; CDC 2024; SAMHSA 2024). The consensus is morally false in a turpitudinous way, and the data prove it. The de-stigmatization movement has become a vector of suicide contagion — spreading the cultural message that self-killing is virtuous, dignified, and brave. Population-level data from jurisdictions that have legalized assisted dying show total suicide ra…Read more

Gendered oppression is a class phenomenon produced by resource scarcity and high infant mortality during the hunter-gatherer to agricultural transition, mapped contingently onto sex through the enclosure of reproductive labor. The class structure that organized itself around sex was arbitrary, specific to a particular historical development, and expanded beyond its biological basis to encompass anyone socially legible as female — including trans women and intersex individuals who present as or i…Read more

Watson and Crick's 1953 Nature paper on the structure of DNA is 842 words long, reports no experiments, presents no original data, and — as this paper demonstrates — contains no original conclusions. A systematic item-by-item comparison of every structural claim in the Watson–Crick paper against Rosalind Franklin's laboratory notebooks (Churchill Archives Centre, FRKN 1/1; analyzed by Klug 2004, Elkin 2003, Comfort 2024) reveals complete overlap. Peter Abelard's commentary on the book of Ezekiel, composed c. 1112–1113 and described in the Historia Calamitatum as the work that launched his theological career, has been listed as lost by every modern authority. No surviving manuscript has been identified. This note proposes that Abelard's lost Ezekiel commentary survives as BnF Latin 12302, currently attributed to Haymon of Auxerre (d. c. 878). The attribution to Haymon is not original to the manuscript. The BnF's own catalog states that it…Read more

This paper proposes a revision of twelfth-century intellectual history by arguing that Peter Abelard (c. 1079–1142) and Adelard of Bath (c. 1080–c. 1152) were not distinct contemporaries but a single individual operating under a bifurcated identity. For eight centuries, disciplinary compartmentalization has separated Abelard — the French dialectician and theologian — from Adelard — the "English" translator and natural philosopher. By synthesizing onomastic, chronological, codicological, philolog…Read more

New Mechanist Explanation (NME) has emerged as a leading contender for a general theory of scientific explanation, with proponents such as Glennan, Craver, and the MDC group arguing that mechanisms constitute the central unit of explanatory analysis across the sciences. This paper argues that NME's claim to generality is unsustainable. After reconstructing NME's core commitments and situating its development within the biotechnology boom of the late twentieth century, I identify a series of expl…Read more

We prove the Hopf Time-Chaos Theorem: any admissible mixing chaotic flow on R2k+2, k ≥ 1, when subjected to diffusion-limited sticky aggregation, produces a limit aggregate whose outer boundary is homeomorphic to S2k+1 and carries a free U (1) action conjugate to the standard Hopf fibration S2k+1 → CPk. The U (1) is realized as the spatial residue of the dominant temporal recurrence frequency in the flow’s linearization — chaos plus time, made geometric. The proof passes through three substantiv…Read more
  • Alexander, Bernardo, and Hui [Phys. Rev. Lett. 136, Iss. 15 (2026), DOI: 10.1103/rzz5-p4f4] derive θ = 12π²/(Λℓ²_Pl) mod 2π from θ-vacua of the Chern–Simons–Kodama state, fixing Λ topologically. Both the gravitational θ governing Λ and the topological-determination-of-Λ thesis are published in prior, timestamped work by the present author; the Letter's quantization follows directly from that apparatus. A citation is warranted.

We compute the transition amplitude and angular observables for the decay $B^0 \to K^{*0}\,\mu^+\mu^-$ entirely within the Topological Unified Field Theory (TUFT) on the complex Hopf fibration. No Standard Model machinery is used: no Feynman diagrams, no Wilson coefficients, no perturbative expansion. The decay is a Beltrami eigenmode transition on the nested Hopf shell hierarchy $S^5 \to S^3$, mediated by the torsion $3$-form $T = \alpha \wedge d\alpha$ of the contact structure. The holonomy ph…Read more

I formally demand the immediate retraction (with full investigation) of the paper: Junpei Harada, “Exact vacuum solution with Hopf structure in gen- eral relativity,” Phys. Rev. Harada's paper is not an independent work. It brazenly copies the core con- ceptual architecture, spe…Read more

Topological Unified Field Theory (TUFT) predicts that physical propagation occurs on a nontrivial total space endowed with a universal $U(1)$ connection. A central consequence is the existence of holonomic corrections to dynamics that are absent in General Relativity and force-based gauge theories. One such correction is a transverse, oscillatory deviation in propagation---the \emph{holonomic wobble}. In this paper, we show that recent experimental and theoretical results by Sala \emph{et al.} (…Read more

In this paper we establish that quantum theory exhibits interference not only in space but in time via three results: (1) Temporal interference follows directly from Schrodinger dynamics through coherent phase evolution generated by the operator i(d/dt). (2) When spatial Bell correlations and temporal Leggett--Garg correlations are treated jointly, they imply a single spacetime constraint, which we formalize as the Nielsen inequality. (3) Quantum violations of this inequality require global cohe…Read more

We prove that for any compact simple non-Abelian gauge group G, a non-trivial quantum Yang–Mills theory exists and has a strictly positive mass gap Δ > 0, as required by the Clay Mathematics Institute Millennium Prize Problem. Existence is established via Wilson's lattice gauge theory on a compact manifold — a rigorous probability measure satisfying Osterwalder–Schrader reflection positivity — with a uniform contraction estimate ρ(a) ≤ 1 − δ that controls the continuum limit. The mass gap is pro…Read more

The Lambda principle detects intrinsic semantic obstruction arising from round-trip translation between inequivalent representational paradigms. We formalize two paradigms intrinsic to nu…Read more

A common critique of the Euclidean presentation of relativity, that it is “unphysical”, is gravely misplaced. In a Lorentz-invariant framework, global time ordering is not preserved, and no single temporal sequence can claim physical priority. The Euclidean formulation simply makes this fact explicit, rather than allowing it to appear only as a side effect of treating time as an independent parameter. If physics is to describe what is actually happening, a Euclidean formulation becomes the natur…Read more
